Single-player games (Solitaire, Minesweeper, Tic-Tac-Toe, Checkers, Connect 4, Quoridor, and others):

• We do not collect any personal information
• Game statistics (scores, best times) are stored locally in your browser using localStorage
• No data is sent to any server

Quiz platform (quiz.quizgames.win):

• Admin accounts: Email address and a hashed password, or authentication via Google OAuth (in which case we receive your name and email from Google)
• Quiz content: Questions, answers, and media files you upload to your quiz sessions
• Player data: Display names chosen by players when joining a quiz session
• Game session data: Answers submitted, scores, and chat messages during quiz sessions

3. Google OAuth

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google for authentication purposes only. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, files, or any other Google data. Your Google credentials are never stored on our servers — authentication is handled entirely by Google's OAuth 2.0 service.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate quiz admin accounts (via password or Google OAuth)
• To run quiz game sessions (storing questions, tracking answers and scores)
• To display leaderboards and results within your quiz session

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, analytics, or any purpose other than operating the services you use.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use only essential cookies and localStorage:

• Authentication token: A session cookie to keep quiz admins logged in (or an OAuth token if using Google sign-in)
• Cookie consent preference: Stored in localStorage to remember your choice on the cookie banner
• Game statistics: Stored in localStorage for single-player games (scores, times, etc.)

We do not use any tracking cookies, analytics scripts, advertising cookies, or third-party cookies.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third parties. Full stop.

7. Data Storage and Security

• Quiz data is stored on Cloudflare's global infrastructure (D1 database and R2 storage)
• All connections are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
• Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms
• Each quiz admin can only access their own data — full isolation between accounts

8. Data Retention

• Quiz sessions: Automatically deleted when the session expires (7–30 days, as configured by the admin)
• Media files: Deleted when their associated quiz session expires
• Admin accounts: Retained until you request deletion
• Single-player data: Stored in your browser only — clear your browser data to remove it

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your quiz questions and data
• Withdraw consent at any time

10. Children's Privacy

Our single-player games are suitable for all ages and collect no personal information. The quiz platform requires an admin account (email address) which should be created by an adult.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the last update at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
